Job Description:

We are currently searching for a Senior Software Tester to join our Mueller team. This position will be based in our Atlanta, GA office with the option to participate in our flexible workplace program that allows for 2 days/ week of remote work. To be a Software Tester within the Software Development Team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust and innovative software solutions in the field of intelligent water management systems. To contribute to the strategy of the team, meet the company's goals and objectives, and improve the quality of the service it delivers internally and externally. Be a part of the professional culture within the team, where individuals take ownership and are fastidious and proud of delivering excellence and quality. This position will report to the Senior Software Development Manager.



Key Responsibilities



  • Write well-structured test plans and scripts.

  • Review and feedback on feature requirements.

  • Create and maintain automated tests.

  • Reproduce and report software issues.

  • Produce professionally written documentation.

  • Provide sensible estimates for work items and consistently deliver against them.

  • Ensure software releases are of high quality and meet requirements.

  • Help facilitate the smooth delivery of all projects, enhancements and support delivered by the team.

  • Participate in the team's agile software development process.

  • Regularly contribute to discussions regarding internal process and system improvements to ensure maximum efficiency across the team.

  • Develop strong working relationships with other departments and customers.

  • Provide mentoring to more junior team members.

  • Be available 'out of hours' if required to complete specific tasks and support customers. This is not a usual or regular occurrence.




Position Requirements



  • As a Software Tester you are highly proficient in testing Web Application and Web API with strong experience in test automation.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a computing or scientific/engineering discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience.

  • 5+ years Test experience

  • Automated and manual Web Application and Web API testing

  • Test Plan and Test Script creation and maintenance.

  • Defect reproduction and reporting.

  • Strong knowledge of Test methodologies.

  • Experience of Test tools and automation frameworks

  • Git

  • Typescript

  • C#




Experience Desired/ Assets:



  • Mobile web application testing

  • SpecFlow

  • Selenium

  • GraphQL

  • Knowledge of Page Object Pattern
