Responsibilities
Completes schematic capture and net list generation of electrical designs using the Altium Design tool
Develops printed circuit board (PCB) layout of complex multi-layer and rigid flex circuit board designs
Completes PCB Gerber file generation, ordering, and design file coordination with fabrication house
Drives PCB development for prototype/proof-of-concept for electrical designs
Completes surface mount component rework of printed circuit boards and component replacement as needed
Qualifications
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Knowledge of electrical design implementation to meet EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) standards
Knowledge of schematic capture and PCB design using Altium Designer
Solidinterpersonal skills in design collaboration with the electrical engineering team
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
Knowledge of high-speed PCB layout design techniques/methods
Education and Experience Required:
Associate's degree in engineering technology, electronics or related discipline
Education and Experience Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (can substitute for up to 2 years relevant work experience.
