Job Description
Mon - Friday (8am - 4:30pm)
1. Develop preventative and predictive maintenance schedules for equipment including but not limited to LC, LC-MS/MS, GC, spectrophotometers, autoturbs, ICPs, ICP-MS, and more. 2. Coordinate with technical departments for both routine maintenance and major repair. 3. Create and maintain the data base for equipment, equipment repair and preventative maintenance, using EIMS in D4 when relevant. 4. Provide assistance on troubleshooting for chromatographic instrument methods. 5. Train analysts on equipment best practices and basic troubleshooting. 6. Serve as the backup for the administrator of the Empower database, the Empower database server, Empower acquisition servers, and the network composed of the above. 7. Assist Equipment Maintenance TPM Leader with Empower software installation and support on all Empower client PCs and acquisition servers. 8. Act as secondary contact for all technical matters regarding equipment OEMs and Eurofins ENAC. 9. Be involved in soliciting quotes from equipment manufacturers for purchases and calibration services of laboratory equipment, such as Waters, Agilent, Perkin Elmer, Foss, Leco, scale OEM, etc. 10. Understand and follow Quality System documents relevant to employment responsibilities. 11. Maintain and perform appropriate equipment calibrations as assigned. 12. Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations relative to assigned work; maintain and assist others in maintaining a clean and safe work environment. 13. Communicate clearly and concisely to management and staff both orally and in writing. 14. Maintain a perpetual state of readiness and willingness to respond to the queries and needs of clients, staff, and co-workers. 15. Remain current on technical, industry, and business advancements and trends as suggested by the Business Unit Manager. 16. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Adept at technical, hands-on skills.
Bachelor's degree in Science or related field and at least 1 years of laboratory instrument use and maintenance experience.
Preferred experience or coursework in laboratory procedures, data analysis, computer operations, mathematics, and technical/business writing.
Knowledge and experience of ISO systems such as 17025.
Knowledge and experience with TPM
