Description: Our client is currently seeking a Male Personal Care Assistant - Elementary School!
Job Title: Personal Care Assistant (Male)
Location: Chester, PA 19013
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:15am-3:45pm
Type: Open-Ended Contract
Job Responsibilities:
Provide instruction in cognitive, motor, feeding, self-help, and behavior control skills.
Ensure health and safety of physically handicapped students.
Assist with personal hygiene tasks (handwashing, toileting, changing).
Monitor and manage student behavior.
Support physical development activities.
Prepare students for mainstream classes.
Attend training and in-service sessions.
Assist with orthopedic equipment and student positioning.
Maintain student progress records.
Implement positive behavior interventions.
Collaborate with case workers, teachers, and staff.
Assist in social interactions.
Work cooperatively and independently.
Perform additional related duties.
Qualifications & Requirements:
First Aid and CPR procedures
Basic record-keeping techniques
Highschool/GED/or higher degree
