Consult as an Expert: Develop and influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Engineering.
Strategic Problem Solving: Address and resolve highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas. Deliver long-term, large-scale solutions that require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical thinking.
Leadership Engagement: Provide expertise to senior leadership on innovative Engineering business solutions and strategically engage with client personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a catalyst in improving operations practices, migrating to new practices with cleanup and simplification.
Define processes and improve adoption of best practices.
Facilitate incident management calls to support private and public cloud operations teams.
Contribute technically through operational readiness reviews and assessment deliverables.
Validate operations activities and address deviations and exceptions.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
Extensive hands-on experience with IaaS and OpenShift/Container operations in Public/On-Prem Cloud environments.
Proficiency in Unix/Linux systems administration in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Demonstrated expertise as an influencer in process, framework, and incident resolution.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration between IT teams, business units, and external partners to effectively transform the IT landscape to meet demand.
