Location: Baltimore, MD

Salary: $180,000.00 USD Annually - $215,000.00 USD Annually

Description:
The Judge Group is seeking a Director of Operations - Dairy in the Hagerstown, MD area. The right candidate with HTST process experience and strong Maintenance Manager experience.



COMPENSATION: $180,000 to 215,000 plus bonus


MUST HAVE: 7+of Dairy manufacturing management experience


MUST HAVE: HTST Process experience


MUST HAVE: Strong PM management experience



RESPONSIBILITIES:


- Directs dairy production activities (Production, Safety and Quality, Financial targets)

- Establish production priorities

- Ensure product is produced efficiently

- Maintain quality and sanitation standards

- Implement (through the Maintenance Manager) effective PM programs and schedules

- Responsible for operations across UHT and ESL

- Coordinate production activities with procurement

- Obtain optimum production and utilization of manpower, machines, equipment, etc

- Assist in setting operations budgets

- Oversee company's SQF program

- Drive key performance indicators

- Manage employee's performance

- Oversee plant cleaning, sanitation, pest control, and GMP compliance and training and schedule

- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices

- Oversee CIP and COP systems

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering of Food Science

- 7+of Dairy manufacturing management experience

- Strong understanding HTST pasteurization and other dairy processes (UHT & ESL)
