Quality Engineer I Position Summary
The Quality Engineer I will provide comprehensive quality assurance support for manufacturing operations. This role is crucial in defining, implementing, and enhancing quality-related practices, ensuring inclusivity and diversity are integral parts of the process. Responsibilities
Quality Engineer I Essential Job Functions
Offer quality engineering support for manufacturing and project management, ensuring inclusivity and diversity are considered in all processes.
Develop inspection requirements, facilitate PFMEAs, resolve discrepant material issues, and create and maintain quality documents, such as control plans and inspection plans, with a focus on inclusivity.
Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities, incorporating diverse perspectives into decision-making processes.
Act as the quality interface for a production team in addressing customer complaints, utilizing failure analysis, developing corrective and preventative actions, and conducting trend analysis with an inclusive approach.
Support internal and external audit activities, ensuring inclusivity and diversity are considered in all quality-related processes.
Lead and participate in company projects, providing quality recommendations that promote inclusivity and diversity.
Support validation activities of processes, equipment, and metrology, with a commitment to inclusivity and diversity.
Create protocols and analyze data, considering diverse perspectives and ensuring inclusivity.
Support Quality Inspectors to ensure inspection plans align with relevant customer requirements, emphasizing inclusivity.
Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO standards, and medical device requirements, ensuring inclusivity and diversity are integrated into all quality-related procedures.
Collaborate with other business segments, including sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance, fostering an inclusive environment.
Understand customer needs and the core business markets served, ensuring inclusivity and diversity are considered in all interactions.
Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly, with a commitment to inclusivity and diversity.
Participate in required company meetings, fostering an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued.

Qualifications
Quality Engineer I Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or another Engineering Science, with a commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.
Knowledge of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, with a focus on inclusivity and diversity.
Intermediate knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T, with an understanding of how inclusivity and diversity can be integrated into technical processes.
Ability to analyze data and ensure data integrity, incorporating diverse perspectives into data interpretation.
Ability to operate a variety of inspection equipment, ensuring inclusivity and diversity are considered in equipment usage.
Ability to consistently achieve short and long-term business results, with a commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher), with an understanding of how technology can promote inclusivity and diversity.
