Job Summary
The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for assembly of the following products: doors, boxes, covers, pads, frames, vaults, and more as needed. The assembly worker will use hand tools, power tools, grind, and minor painting.
Job Responsibilities
Read and interpret Production Work Orders (PWO), Assembly Pick Sheets (Orders), Engineering Prints, and Daily production schedule
Identify safety hazards in the assembly area
Perform TPM, maintenance checks on area equipment daily and weekly
Inspect material, products, or equipment for defects
Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Job Requirements
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Manufacturing or construction experience preferred
Strong attention to detail
Basic math skills
Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
Must be able to work in a hot and cold environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically throughout the day
Must be able to read engineering prints
Light welding is a plus
