Ultimate Staffing has partnered with national-leading construction company looking to add a Construction Estimator to their team due to expansion. We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join their team whose commitment to excellence has established them as an industry pioneer with a proven track record of successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will prepare and manage bids for residential and commercial projects.

What you'll do:
Develop comprehensive cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor quotes, profit, overhead, and taxes
Conduct and attend bid walks with customers, documenting through photos, notes, and measurements
Identify and coordinate with subcontractors and internal resources
Analyze construction plans, specifications, and bid documentation
Create detailed breakdowns of labor and materials for all construction phases
Execute material takeoffs and secure accurate pricing
Manage distribution of plans, photos, and bid walk documentation to stakeholders
Prepare and submit accurate, complete bids
Deliver final proposals to customers
What you'll need:
Demonstrated ability to research and understand product specifications
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
Excellent time management skills with ability to meet strict deadlines
Proven mathematical skills for calculating dimensions and material requirements
Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining customer relationships
Problem-solving mindset and positive attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) with ability to create forms, letters, and spreadsheets
