We are looking for an HR Professional who has a passion for Employee Relations and Safety, to support a Distribution Center in Auburndale, Florida - Onsite position Up to $42/hr DOE - Fast Paced and very Team Oriented
The Employee Relations and Safety Business Partner is responsible for administering Employee Relations programs, investigating employees' complaints, and understanding any relevant state/Federal regulations regarding HR, Payroll, Workers Compensation and Safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Investigate employees' complaints and review Management Disciplinary Action Notice based on the result of investigation (if required) and monitor federal/state laws/regulations and HR operation standards.
Partner with managers and employees to resolve employee relations issues through coaching, counseling, investigations, and conflict resolution.
Work closely with ER corporate HQ personnel and Manager to ensure smooth handling of ER related matters.
Administering company- wide safety programs, training, and reinforcing IIPP.
Coordinate safety training programs. Understand OSHA standards.
Work with DC to ensure that safety related matters are addressed timely.
Work closely with the Safety and Workers' compensation Supervisor to ensure smooth implementation and handling of Safety/ WC related matters.
HR Knowledge - EEO requirements, compliance with federal and state laws and responding to claims, complaints, and hearing requirements. Knowledge of labor laws (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, CFRA, DFEH, State Leave laws, and safety requirements (OSHA, HazMat).
Monday through Friday, hours need to overlap 1st and 2nd shifts.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in HR or equivalent; combination of work experience and education will be considered.
5 to 10 years progressive experience in HR as Generalist or HRBP of Employee Relations.
PHR Certification is preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish & English is highly preferred.
