Supports facility maintenance to assure operational reliability consistent with the needs of the operational facility and to ensure the maximum availability and longevity of assets
Troubleshoots and repairs operating equipment
Supports operations leaders to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence
Supports and executes capital projects to enhance efficiencies, improve performance, and meet growth plans, including defining the scope of work, budget, schedule and responsibilities
Assures compliance with Company's EAM platform
Supports key stakeholders on project design and management, supplier selection and scheduling coordination, new equipment acquisition and installation, materials acquisition, audits and process changes
Develops and execute site's preventative maintenance program
Manages maintenance parts inventory including procurement
Assures all tasks are performed in a safe manner, and comply with all company, local, state, and federal requirements
Interacts with key stakeholders to provide technical support and/or resolve equipment reliability issues
Provides guidance on staffing, training, employee relations and performance management to develop and enhance the salaried and/or hourly team, working closely with direct reports
Maintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Technical background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, processing, blue prints
Knowledge of lockout tag out, all safety related issues while working on or around plant/production equipment
Knowledge of communicative properties in all areas of plant operations
Knowledge of formula's, theories and measurements
Knowledge of ANSI and QS9000 regulations
Able to use technical equipment and tools to trouble shoot many problems associated with plant equipment
Computer literate
Skills in work priorities
Some understanding of drawings and or procedures that have to do with maintaining equipment/ building side of plant operations
Must possess the ability to read, write, and speak English
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting
