Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Automation QA Tester within our team. This role offers remote work opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Developed and executed automated test cases, recorded test results, and reported and managed defects identified while testing



  • Worked with Microsoft Test Manager/Azure Test Plans and Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps to support accurate test metrics for progress reporting

  • Created and executed SQL to query database and validated data and data transformation

  • Worked closely with the client and collaborated with different groups and stakeholders

  • Worked with automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, Katalon, Tosca, TestNG framework, and/or Java

  • Experience with implementing end-to-end processes

  • Experience in Manual Testing (System Testing, E2E Testing, System Integration Testing, Regression Testing)

  • Must have worked on complete end-to-end processes from design analysis to execution and defect management process

  • Worked on agile and waterfall methodology

Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree:


  • 8 + years of experience working with functional testing techniques, which includes the following:


    • System Testing

    • System Integration Testing

    • Regression Testing

    • Understanding of SDLC methodologies and QA practices and procedures


  • 8 + years of experience in testing applications with multiple integrations, large databases, and complex business processes

  • 8 + years of experience writing and executing queries in SQL

  • 8 + years of experience using TFS, Azure DevOps, Jira, ClearQuest, or any other test management/issue capture tool

  • Experience with automation test tools such as Selenium, QTP, Katalon, TestNG Framework, and/or Tosca

  • Proven experience in working with subject matter experts and clients to understand requirements and develop test cases and scenarios

  • Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically Word and Excel

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team



The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $95,000 - $158,800.00. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. This position is classified as exempt in accordance with applicable law.
