This position is responsible for Fleet focused accounting duties consisting of research, selection, compilation and analysis of the Fleet's key performance indicators and various statistical and financial reports prepared to meet internal and/or customer business requirements. Job duties include working in areas of financial, business or budget analysis under the direction of management. Responsibilities also include analyzing work processes, making recommendations and assisting with implementing changes which improve process workflow throughout the Fleet Department at MP Systems.
Conduct business in accordance with PPC and MP Systems' mission and vision statements.


Responsibilities:

• Manage Capex spend and provide information on cash flow to schedule purchases.


• Help collect and track internal upfit invoices and start depreciation when units are complete.
  Track rental invoices monthly and contact vendors when reconciliations are needed.
  Ensure invoices and charges are entered correctly into IFS for the correct month.


• Ensure billing and revenue are in sync.


• Review fleet usage weekly and report any low or high use trends.


• Work with project managers on job cost transfers for direct bill rentals, and provide detailed reporting to ensure accuracy.


• Provide fleet accounting related reporting from IFS - formatted for the end user.


• Research and look into fleet related financial issues in a timely manner for accounting.


• Support both fleet and accounting with any fleet related financial questions.


• Compiles depreciation on units until they can be entered into IFS while upfitting is happening.


• Review and analyze all financial performance metrics for the fleet department.


• Assist in meeting Customer audit requirements.


• Analyze work processes, make recommendations and implement changes which improve process workflow within MP Systems.
