Summary of Duties:
Independently responsible for planning, developing, and directing activity of custodial department; analyzing the needs for staffing, equipment, and supplies; developing departmental budget; and approving purchases of supplies and equipment within budgetary allocation. Manages custodial services for multiple buildings.
Required Qualifications:
Two years' experience supervising or directing others in large-scale housekeeping, janitorial, general or building maintenance or custodial work; OR equivalent education/experience.
Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7.10 and departmental driving standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months experience leading or directing the work of others.
High school diploma or equivalent, and one (1) year experience as a Custodian 3 or equivalent.

Monthly Salary:
$4,093 to $4,987 | Range 43 (Step E - M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
