HRIS Analysts evaluate, analyze, design, configure and maintain company Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This role works closely with leaders within Human Resources and the broader company to support existing business processes and efforts to optimize those processes to meet long-term and short-term strategic objectives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to data integrity, system configuration, vendor integration, process documentation, and reporting.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Research and resolve any system problems or unexpected flaws.
Define requirements and design solutions to meet business objectives and optimize HR service delivery by coordinating with HR partners or other partners in the broader organization on simple to moderately complex projects.
Process advanced configuration and business process changes with oversight from senior role or supervisor. Includes alerts, notifications, and automated workflows.
Recommend plans for continued process improvements and system enhancements to support business strategies and operational needs.
Develop and maintain a variety of report queries to support customer requests, regulatory reporting requirements, and monitor data integrity. Ensure data accuracy by performing regular audits and reconciliations.
Collaborate with functional teams with developing test cases and validating the test results for configuration changes and system upgrades.
Monitor and build simple to moderately complex integration files to company systems and external vendors.
Work with Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors and other integration tools to create and troubleshoot connections with internal and external systems.
Maintain user procedures and documentation.
Stay current on new Workday releases, features and best practices.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Human Resources or a related discipline
3+ years of experience working with HRIS maintenance, reporting, and configuration.
Workday Integration, Studio, Core Connector and API experience.
Good understanding of HR practices, reporting needs, data analysis and data audit
Ability to communicate well (both verbal and written).
Ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office products (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint)
Must be customer service focused.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
Workday Pro Certification
Project Management experience
Level of Complexity and Scope
Collaborates with business leaders, senior role and/or supervisor to support systems impacting Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Performance Management.
Degree of Independence and Decision-Making
A certain degree of creativity and flexibility is required when offering solutions.
