Use of hand-held controls to operate an overhead crane in a safe/efficient manner.
Working with the shipping team and production crew to ensure that parts are moved and staged in accordance with business needs.
Assisting in performing routine switchgear production work.
Read blueprints to install copper and aluminium conductors using hand tools and torque wrenches
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. consistently and safely.
Resolve most of the problems encountered in keeping the team on target with assistance from team members.
Complete daily routine operations tasks for both Copper and sheet metal and when the unit is on target.
Provide troubleshooting assistance and determine the cause of performance gaps using collaborative data knowledge and skills.
Document/report all production quality requirements and any performance gaps ensuring all relevant troubleshooting and resolution information is recorded.
Provide support for general engineering and electrical activities as required.
Ensuring accuracy in maintaining production records such as quantities and types produced.
Compliance with all safety rules and procedures.
Must be able to work overtime when our workload demands.
