Responsibilities:

In support of Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault, we are seeking a Program Analyst III with experience in supporting DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/principles/organizational protocols.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
• Develop and maintain the IMP/IMS for the AAV and ACV Programs.
• Integrate, coordinate, maintain, and provide current schedule activity information related to the IMP/IMS.
• Be responsible for the integration of all Contract IMS (where applicable) into the Program IMS, and then establish and maintain an electronic schedule baseline in accordance with each Program’s Integrated schedule.
• Prepare and update an IMS Narrative Report and analysis for each PM AAA Program and Contract IMS.
• Use the approved IMP and IMS to determine program or schedule risks, develop alternative solutions, and provide a recommended path forward to resolve programmatic issues and/or concerns.
• Identify gaps in the integrated schedule.
• Promptly report problems and recommend corrective actions to minimize schedule delays.
• Report weekly on the schedule using scheduling tools and processes.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or institution and six (6) years of related experience, or nine (9) years of direct Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule (IMP/IMS) may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Project management scheduling; critical path analysis; design and management of IMP/IMS.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Demonstrated ability to work with large and diverse teams.
• Knowledge of the guidelines provided by the DoD 5000 series, Navy and Marine Corps acquisition policies and procedures desirable. Must be capable of developing program documentation and briefings to the customer (Civilian and/or Military) and able to coordinate the review/approval process.
• Experience with an ACAT I program is preferred.
Specific/Preferred Requirements:
Project planning and management experience. The ability to work with multi-disciplined projects. Exhibits exceptional organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Cooperates and communicates with the project manager, Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and other project participants, and collaborates with team members to create more efficient project methods. Interacts with the customer, interprets their needs and requirements, and represents them in the respective IMP/IMS.
