The Mario J. Gabelli School of Business at Roger Williams University, Bristol RI, invites applications for a position of Assistant Professor of Finance beginning Fall 2025. Responsibilities include teaching financial management as well as related courses. A research and teaching interest in financial engineering, fintech and financial analytics would be given preference. A secondary interest in international finance or real estate would be welcome. The individual hired will be expected to provide excellence in teaching, be enthusiastic about advising students, and maintain high level professional activity through quality research and service.
Candidates should have an established record or demonstrated strong potential for high quality, innovative teaching and research, including publishing in appropriate, quality peer-reviewed journals. Minimum requirements include a Ph.D. or DBA from an AACSB accredited institution. We will consider current Ph.D. candidates as long as there is a demonstrated pathway to completing their degree before Fall 2025.
At the University's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be accepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the University, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
