Software Development Engineer

We are currently looking for a software development engineer for Fab Automation equipment side projects. The primary area of work is Semiconductor Sorter software. Our projects involve client-side software that require 300mm Semi Standard.



What you'll do:



  • Gather requirements, write requirement specification and get spec reviewed by team


  • Interact with other software team engineers to understand how to interface with their SW.


  • Interact with QA team for SQA software.


  • Write ATP (acceptance test procedure) and Test Cases


  • Unit testing over software emulation


  • Test software component to overall system


  • Work with rest of team in debugging system integration problems


  • Evaluate / review existing legacy software code to ensure the solution meets all existing software functionality.


  • Proven communication skills and ability to work in a team and independently.





What You'll Bring:



  • BS or MS Degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science/ orrelated field with 6-8years or 4-5years experience respectively.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


  • Some experience working with a small team of 6 - 12 engineers.


  • A minimum of 2 years of experience of working knowledge on C# Programming.


  • Experience with Visual Studio, XML, DevOps, and Microsoft Data Access


  • SEMI Standard (E5, E30, E37, E39, E40, E58, E84, E87, E90, E94, E116) experience and SECS/GEM communication experience.


  • Familiar with Semiconductor equipment and Semiconductor Factory Automation (SECS/GEM)





Nice to Haves:



  • Experience with multi-threaded applications.


  • Software development experience in C#


  • WinForm and WPF development experience


  • Create software installation package using InstallShield experience

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $138,472.95 USD to $167,625.15 USD


Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.


This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
