The Senior Scrum Master works with the Product Owner to understand the business need, and owns the effort of a new Scrum team and/or multiple Scrum team(s) to iteratively develop new features and/or enhancements and fix defects. This role acts as the servant leader for the Scrum team - guiding them throughout the Agile Scrum processes and removing any impediments for increased productivity. This role leads a new/highly complex product team or acts as an agile coach for multiple scrum teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
• 5 years of work experience in Scrum/Agile or working in related information technology, business analysis or project management roles
• Experience standing up a new scrum team and working with implementation vendor
• 2 years of experience coaching leadership, teams, and/or individuals, and providing work direction
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications:
• Demonstrated expertise in planning, controlling, and monitoring of products in Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), Kanban, and SAFe
• Proven customer focus with the ability to lead and communicate effectively with business (non-IT) and technical stakeholders
• Track record of a team player across diverse teams with excellent interpersonal and motivational skills, with experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing others
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with ambiguity and evolving priorities
• Expert problem-solving and analysis capabilities
• Experience in working within a traditional Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) - ability to apply standards of test-driven development methods covering the full development lifecycle (e.g. project preparation, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support) to ensure solution quality and consistency of process
