Job Description
Senior Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Leading direct reports, group leaders, managers and their teams, and serving clients in technical settings, such as laboratories or manufacturing facilities
Lead recruiting and retention efforts along with site leadership
Monthly meetings with each direct report, the Eurofins department, and client managers
Disseminate administrative communications
Leads special projects, organizing technical resources and staff to accomplish within given deadlines
Demonstrate and promote the company vision by leading companywide initiatives
Drives programs independently and build relationships with partners at all levels of the organization, and externally.
Meet all quality and productivity metrics, and demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration
Lead teams, schedules, and train employees in client environment
Organize technical resources and staff to accomplish client goals within given deadlines
Assist Director with business operations as needed
Stays current in science and technology and consults knowledgeably with clients
Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess:
Focus on solutions oriented management
Scientific background with hands on laboratory experience
A good understanding of day to day business operations
Demonstrated strong client service skills, teamwork, and collaboration
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Strong leadership, initiative, and teambuilding skills and experience
Basic Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or other related field
10+ years of hands on related experience
At least 5 years in a leadership role
Business Management education or experience preferred
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
