Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess residents with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help residents achieve their goals.
Work closely with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive care.
Provide education to residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing techniques.
Document resident progress and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of California.
Experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy.
Ability to work well in a team and independently.
