Wood is seeking an experienced Project / Pursuit Coordinator to join their Systems Integration Team in Houston.
The Project / Pursuit Coordinator role will undertake Systems Integration proposal coordination planning including the liaising with Proposals and Commercial groups on larger more complex opportunities. The Project / Pursuit Coordinator will provide cost control and reporting support to business managers and technical account managers and their clients.

Success criteria include:
Optimized Systems Integration proposal delivery including the improved billability of engineers currently supporting proposal development.
Supporting projects by maintaining ~40% billability as a project coordinator and cost controller on client projects.
Supporting Business Manager / Technical Account Manager (seller-doers) on internal/external reporting.
Ensure the business is properly supported by other Wood functions, streamlining working with commercial, estimating and proposals groups in accordance with the Commercial & Proposals RACI document for Consulting
Improved Systems Integration proposal process through planning, scheduling, and preparing for proposals to minimize disruptions to the normal business flow proposal deadlines can create.
Improved quality of proposals, presentations and other customer deliverables.
Standardization of Systems Integration proposal deliverables and supporting case studies and reference material.
Increased proposal win rate within Systems Integration Americas.
Summary of responsibilities include:
Support Client projects in project coordination, cost control capacity working with Project Control Managers and Project Managers.
Provide cost control support to business managers and technical account managers (seller-doers) to minimize internal/external reporting burden.
Participate in estimation and be technically proficient in Systems Integration and Automation scope and technology - develop this proficiency over time
Maintain list of all active proposals, pre-qualifications and other customer responses with status and submission dates for assigned business verticals.
Oversee the production of proposals of all sizes/types and other customer responses (including prequalification, expressions of interest, presentations, etc.) and ensure that the proposal is compliant and delivered on time.
This key role collaborates with capture management, SMEs, and proposal staff to write, edit, review, and produce winning proposals.
Support and contribute to the continual improvement of proposal procedures and processes.
Coordinate business related activities in support of streamlined Consulting BU commercial process (including risk screening, proposal/commercial function engagement, cost modeling, ATP/ATS coordination, etc).
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from a relevant technical or business discipline (or equivalent gained through industry experience)
Knowledge, skills and experience:
Proficient knowledge of excel (other cost software) and related principles, tools and techniques including budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow.
Proficient ability to develop project cost budgets and technical estimates.
Proficient ability to prepare project cost reports.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat; Proficiency with SharePoint and InDesign is desired
Strong organizational, planning and coordination skills.
Strong proofreading, editing and business software skills (style, format, grammar, etc.)
Technical and/or engineering experience preferred but not required
