Job Description:

Spalding Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst in Patuxent River, MD. Position Type: Full-Time
Work Location: Hybrid remote/in-office (see on-site requirements below)

**On-Site Requirements: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Position may require on-site work at PAX 1-2 days per week.

Essential Functions:

• Perform data collection, data analysis, testing, and troubleshooting on large quantities of corporate operations data
• Extract, transform, and load data using TOAD, SQL and/or Informatica
• Provide configuration and/or data management for data, information, files, and documents.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

• Experience developing and executing SQL queries in Business Objects/TOAD/Cognos or similar BI tool
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, macros, VBA)

Desired:

• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Qlik or Tableau
• Experience developing/creating reports with Business Objects or other BI query tool
• Experience using DECKPLATE or other Naval Maintenance Databases a plus
• Experience providing support to NAVAIR IT organization/environment

Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Active Secret clearance desired, interim Secret acceptable to start. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education: BS/BA degree and 3 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 9 years related experience.
