The successful candidate will have faculty appointments in the Department of Pediatrics of the University of Maryland School of Medicine at academic levels to be determined by experience. The University of Maryland St Joseph Medical Center NICU has a Level III NICU, serving the children of Maryland and the mid-Atlantic region.

Qualifications
Medical degree or foreign equivalent.
Completion of Residency training in Pediatrics
Completion of Fellowship training in Neonatology
Maryland medical license or eligible for Maryland medical license.
Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.
The successful candidate should be BC/BE, with excellent teaching and clinical skills. In addition to clinical duties, neonatologists have an opportunity to participate in clinical and translational research and quality improvement projects.
