Instrument Validation Specialist
Employee Responsibilities:
System Administrator for various pieces of instrumentation within the analytical chemistry laboratory
Instrument Validation and Qualification specialist familiar with GMP compliant testing in the pharmaceutical industry
Responsibilities will include IQ/OQ/PQ activities, Part 11 compliance testing, Change Control, and SOP/technical writing
Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment
Train new analysts
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
Metrololgy and/or software testing background would be a plus
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
