Director of Digital Program Management:
The Director of Digital Program Management is responsible for leading multi-faceted digital initiatives across CAVA's retail and Catering digital portfolio. This role is key in managing a diverse set of large-scale digital programs and ensuring we are able to deliver against our strategic plans. You will work closely with the digital product management team to develop product and digital program roadmaps to launch new experiences for CAVA's customers and team members. A deep understanding of digital technologies, understanding of our restaurant operations and ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives is key to success in this role.
What You'll Do:
Lead the planning, execution and delivery of multiple cross-functional digital projects and programs
Partner with functional leaders across product management, user experience, customer engagement, customer experience, marketing, technology, operations, and other cross-functional leaders to deliver end-to-end projects to market.
Lead scope definition, market deployment roadmaps, integrated project schedules, roles and responsibilities, program status (reporting), governance, alignment, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and communications.
Develop and manage integrated program plans and roadmaps, partnering with technology program managers to ensure plans are comprehensive and accurate
Actively identify, track and mitigate risks associated with the project/program delivery
Continuously assess and improve digital program management processes and ensure consistency in processes across program planning, management and status reporting
Develop presentations, program communications and other tools to communicate status, issues and risks
Lead quarterly planning activities and report outs across digital portfolio
Manage vendor partners relationships and assign work/deliverables.
Serve as the key point of contact for key stakeholders, program team members and vendor partners on program plans and status
Establishes metrics of success related to the guest-first mindset; holds self and others accountable to a high standard of performance
Sets expectations of high-quality work and goal setting across departments
Leads diversity and inclusion efforts within teams; influences managers to do the same
Accountable for assessing team's talent and ensuring the right people are in the right roles
Establishes what team success looks like and effectively communicates that vision to direct reports
Oversees innovation and growth at the team level; takes accountability for these elements aligning with our Key Initiatives
Models emotional resilience and intelligence in all facets of their role
The Qualifications:
12 years' experience in running large-scale multi-faceted digital programs
Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, marketing or other relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven ability to manage complex digital programs through strong leadership, management and mentoring skills
Demonstrates expert knowledge of program and project management procedures and techniques.
Ability to understand, harmonize and apply business and technical concepts to drive delivery
Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals and manage a matrix organization at varying levels to achieve program success.
Ability to problem solve, identify, and remove roadblocks, triage, and prioritize issues, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Demonstrates advanced negotiation and risk management techniques in managing programs.
Demonstrates strong ability to provide clear vision, define objectives, set, and communicate aligned expectations. Proven ability to identify stakeholders, lead teams through impact analyses and development of communication plans
Identify change management requirements and collaboratively build change plans with teams and stakeholders.
Experience working within various project/program management methodologies i.e., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
