Catering Sales Coordinator:
The Catering Sales Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Catering Sales and is responsible for supporting sales operations. They will assist and coordinate all aspects of the sales process to facilitate, including lead generation, order management, customer service, and reporting. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team, contributing to overall sales performance and guest satisfaction.
What You'll Do:
Support the Sales team with lead generation, order management, customer service, delivery assistance
Manage customer database and sales pipeline to ensure contact details are complete and opportunities are tracked and followed up on in a timely manner
Develop and review customer and sales reporting to track performance and identify areas of sales opportunity
Conduct research on prospective customers and competitive landscape to provide insights and develop effective sales strategies
Provide excellent customer service to customers, responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Manage catering events to support partnerships, brand campaigns, trade shows, and other promotional activities
Coordinate and manage ordering and distribution of sales and marketing collateral
Partner with Operations and Catering Sales Managers to support Catering communication to restaurant team members
Abide by policies and procedures that support the service mindset
Manage timeline expectations within and across teams, deliver on our responsibilities accordingly
Earn the trust of Team Members and Managers by consistently embracing CAVA's values
Show discipline in bringing consistent performance, communication, and attitude to the job every day
Actively contribute to your department in order to complete tasks and meet company goals
Recognize the emotional stake each Team Member has in personal and organizational success of this business
The Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years sales experience in catering and/or restaurant environment required
Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or other relevant field preferred
Proven experience and comfort conducting cold calls
Professional presence, ability to adapt message and approach to the audience, and ability to relate to a wide variety of people and tailor communication accordingly
High attention to detail; strong organizational skills; exemplary written and verbal communication skills
Highly developed critical thinking skills
Experience with CRM software, online ordering systems, and consumer loyalty programs required
Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) skills
Ability to work effectively with high degree of autonomy
Excellent time management skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
