Summary
The successful candidate will report directly to the Manager of BioClinical Statistics in the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. The individual will provide statistical support to assist faculty and residents in the design, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of biomedical and clinical research throughout Midwestern University (MWU). The individual will be involved in consultation with medical researchers, supporting resident research through analysis support, and experience supportive management that encourages professional development. This position is eligible for two days work-from-home after successful onboarding.

Computer Skills
Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), expertise in R, SAS, or SPSS programming languages for data cleaning, statistical inference, and figure creation.
Language Skills
High skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information to top management and board of directors.
Reasoning Ability
High skills: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Mathematical Ability
High skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
