Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of a first-of-its-kind cybersecurity software environment for ground combat vehicles.
Architect, design, and implement scalable, object-oriented software solutions.
Perform software requirements analysis and develop code to meet design specifications.
Debug software issues across multiple testing phases.
Ensure continuous integration (CI/CD) and develop automated tests for embedded systems in a DevSecOps pipeline.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software while meeting system performance and design standards.
Maintain software products to comply with accreditation and configuration control requirements.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field (preferably Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering) from an ABET-accredited university; relevant cyber technical certificates will also be considered.
Experience: 7-10 years of software engineering experience, with programming proficiency in C#, Java, C++, Rust, or Ada (and openness to learning new languages).
Cybersecurity: Experience in a cyber environment is desired.
Linux: Significant experience in Linux environments, including Bash scripting and Linux system programming (device drivers, bootloaders, etc.).
Networking/IPC: Familiarity with networking protocols and inter-process communication (TCP, UDP, Sockets, SHM, etc.).
Bonus: SELinux policy development experience is a plus.
Tools: Familiarity with user story/ticketing software like Rally, Jira, or Asana, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
Other: Willingness to work flexible hours as needed by the project and ability to meet Anthropometric Size Restrictions for military vehicle access.
