Senior Production Liaison Engineer job in Lima, Ohio is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Defense company. Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat support vehicles contributing innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a technical liaison for combat vehicle programs, providing engineering support to production and government representatives.
Lead design for manufacturing (DFM) efforts to improve production efficiency and readiness.
Address manufacturing problem reports, execute failure analysis, and implement corrective actions for mechanical and electrical systems.
Support prototype and production builds, conducting design integration, fit checks, and troubleshooting.
Develop components that meet performance requirements for safety, environmental, ballistic, and other specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to engineering principles, project budgets, and timelines.
Perform root cause analysis, drawing/model corrections, and lead design reviews.
Interface with company plant leadership and division programs to support the Lima Tank Plant's production.
Qualifications:
U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain Secret Security clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Systems, or related discipline).
10+ years of experience in engineering, preferably in combat vehicles, heavy equipment, or industrial design.
Proven leadership in engineering roles, with experience supporting prototype and production builds.
Strong expertise in mechanical/electrical systems design, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
Solid modeling experience with NX and Creo.
Proficiency in MS Office products.
Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Experience with U.S. Department of Defense customer interactions.
