Responsibilities:
Perform manual and clerical tasks related to receiving materials, supplies, and equipment.
Utilize computers to enter transactions, validate information, and maintain databases.
Unpack and inspect items received, verifying completeness against bills of lading and invoices.
Document and report damaged, excess, or misdirected goods and notify appropriate departments.
Route materials to inspection, storage, or other destinations and operate mobile equipment for material movement.
Respond to inquiries regarding the status of rejected or received goods.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required.
Experience in inspection of parts within a similar industry.
Familiarity with tools used in inspection, such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM (coordinate measuring machines)
