Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Security Software Engineer in Scottsdale, AZ.

Summary:
We are seeking an IT Security Engineer passionate about fast-paced environments to design, deploy, and sustain advanced security tools. Key Responsibilities:
Security Engineering, Automation, & Orchestration:

• Design and maintain security automation tools for integration with internal systems


• Address vulnerabilities across teams by embedding preventative measures


• Integrate scanning and monitoring systems into CI/CD pipelines; Experience with Ansible and Jenkins is a plus


• Create regex-based pattern detection scripts to identify potential threats

Secure-SDLC & Codebase Review:

• Lead Secure-SDLC initiatives, promoting security-first practices organization-wide


• Conduct architecture and code reviews to ensure compliance with security standards

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years in Software or Security Engineering with solid experience in secure coding and automation


• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript (Node, AJAX), Java, SQL, Linux Bash, XML, YAML/JSON


• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, and AWS/Azure


• Knowledge of data protection (CCPA, GDPR) and vulnerability management


• Strong understanding of API security for REST, SOAP, and GraphQL

Preferred Certifications:

• Certifications such as ISC2, ISACA, CompTIA, GIAC, AWS, Azure, TOGAF, and SABSA are preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
