Job Description:

The Operations Coordinator, Undergraduate Admission will provide customer service to prospective students, their families, and school officials, and will provide operational support to all enrollment-related processes.

This will be a 10-month position working 25 hours/week.

WHAT YOU WILL DO


  • Provide all manners of service to customers related to admission and general college information via phone, email, and mail.

  • Along with colleagues, manage the general admission email account and respond to a high volume of email and phone calls daily. Gain a high-level understanding of the admission process and procedures in order to answer such questions.

  • Provide administrative coordination and support for marketing initiatives, events, and admission interviews.

  • Perform high volume of data entry (electronic and paper-based) including, but not limited to admission inquiry, applicant credentials, and possible interview scheduling within the office CRM, Slate. Provide back-up support to GPA re-Calculation team during peak application review times.

  • Work in with collaboration with members of the enrollment staff to support special projects as assigned. Provide back-up support to customer service/front-desk coordinator including but not limited to daily lunch coverage, vacation and sick time, and other coverage as assigned.

  • Adhere to enrollment business processes and systems (i.e., data integrity protocols) on an ongoing basis.

  • Assume additional responsibilities as requested

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED

Associate's Degree or equivalent

At least 1-3 years of related work experience.

Exceptional customer service orientation.

Demonstrated ability to work creatively and efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.

Commitment to a diverse working environment and to cultivating a diverse community.

Excellent public speaking, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and all Google Drives.

Ability to envision and propose new methods to perform tasks that support ET&A; take thoughtful risks; and accept new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.

Ability to anticipate and embrace change; demonstrate willingness to achieve, acquire, and utilize new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions.

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK

Requires work onsite 5 days a week; the on campus requirement is subject to modification based on organizational need

Willingness to works evenings/weekends as needed

Must be able to work during critical admission weeks during the year, to be determined by the manager.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS YOU MAY HAVE

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
