DCI Donor Services is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join us to save lives! We are looking for a Batch Record Supervisor that will assist the Director of Quality Assurance in the oversight and daily operations of the Batch Record Review team.

Below are some of the key accountabilities/qualifications this position will hold:
1. Provides oversight of the daily operations for batch record review team to ensure product is released to meet orders and demand.
2. Oversees release of suitable tissue products into distribution. Identifies product that does not meet release requirements and initiates the discard or rework of product.
3. Assists with training and mentoring batch record reviewers in the release of final product.
4. Ensures compliance with internal procedures, FDA regulations and AATB standards.
5. Supports implementing and executing strategic initiatives identified by the Quality leadership team.
6. Assists QA with the initiation, investigation and closure of deviations, complaints, and other occurrence reports.
7. Identifies, creates, reviews, and revises all applicable standard operating procedures related to quality operations.
8. Works with Operations staff on trending errors to reduce the amount of errors and deviations.
9. Ensures clear communication with leadership and peers in both oral and written formats. Acts as a skilled negotiator to streamline processes and reduce workplace disruption. Escalates business matters in an appropriate manner.
10. Coordinates supply ordering and performs inventory management for supplies need for batch record.
11. Supports quality management during internal and external audits to ensure compliance with internal requirements, AATB standards and FDA regulations.
12. Acts as a role model for DCIDS by supporting, reinforcing, and exhibiting behaviors consistent with the DCIDS core values, which are: selfless, hardworking, passionate, and dependable.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
• High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Four years of tissue banking or related field, including team lead or employee supervision required experience required.
• CTBS, ASQ preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.
