Overview
Under direct supervision, primarily provides general administrative support for a project, team, or work unit. Similar to an Office Clerk or Specialist*. May also include some basic data entry and report generation.
This position will support OHSU Dental Clinic Operations as follows:
Setting up and maintaining dental clinic operatories including: barriers, procedure trays, stocking supplies, breaking down rooms after patient care, discard used supplied, changing barriers, disinfecting surfaces, preparing instruments for sterilization
Transport clinical gowns from RLSB Materials Warehouse to onsite clinics
Routine equipment maintenance
Taking inventory of supplies, equipment, and instruments
Run errands, transports equipment as needed
Seat and escort patients in/out of operatory
Responsibilities
Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in an undergraduate program (minimum 6 credit hours) OR
Graduate Program (minimum 4.5 credit hours)
Demonstrable record of reliable attendance, punctuality and proven successful performance
Demonstrated exemplary tact, discretion, confidentiality and diplomacy
Demonstrated ability to read, write and understand written and oral instructions in English
Demonstrated record of exemplary customer service experience
