Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an Inventory Control Specialist in our West Chester, OH location.

What will you do?

  • Collaborate with internal teams to lead activities related to the management of materials related to production, using multiple tools and communication methods.

Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain cycle counting strategies that align with company targets.

  • Strategize to efficiently determine and process obsolete material.

  • Develop and monitor program to ensure kanban material is aligned with production volumes.

  • Execute daily inventory analysis; identify and resolve discrepancies and potential shortages.

  • Ensure maintenance and accuracy of all records related to inventory transactions; cycle counts, adjustments, dispositions, audits, etc.
    • Oversee stock item master, identifying incorrect descriptions and stock numbers.
    • Locate items that may have incorrect locations or stock numbers to assist order processors.
    • Communicate with Purchasing Department as needed regarding new items, changes of location, counts, etc.
    • Ensure milestones and goals are met.
    • Perform and assist with general maintenance and cleanup of warehouse.
    • Operate forklift as needed.
    • Perform additional related duties as assigned.


What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Inventory planning and inventory management experience.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management processes.

  • Highly organized with attention to detail.

  • Supply chain management knowledge is a plus.

  • Experience with ERP / Inventory control technical transactions.

  • Good written, verbal, reading and math skills.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Forklift experience.
