Your Role:
The role of Account Manager for MilliporeSigma's Process Solutions Americas group is to consistently increase market share and revenue by collaborating with pharma and biotech customers and prospects to solve their unique challenges. This role will primarily be focused in Puerto Rico area with select accounts. As a member of the Process Solutions team, you will be responsible for a broad portfolio of products used in GMP manufacturing. In this role, you must have a command of forecasting, strategic territory planning and proactive selling approach, while maintaining customer relationships. Must be flexible and willing to travel within territory to optimize customer engagement. Up to 50% travel with occasional international travel.
Responsibilities:
Develop a detailed strategic plan to manage the territory
Provide an accurate and realistic forecast of projected territory orders.
Meet or exceed assigned territory budget
Manage Price, contract negotiation and business closing with senior managers and/or executives.
Make appointments and follow up with customers' needs. .
Keep internal CRM tools updated.
Provide basic product applications, technology support and practical trainings to customers to achieve sales target.
Complete all required training in a timely and thorough manner.
Location: Field based in Puerto Rico
Who you are:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in bioprocessing sciences, chemical, biochemical engineering or similar discipline.
5+ years of experience in Life Sciences industry
3+ years of experience with purification, filtration, single use, separation sciences and raw material technologies for biotech manufacturing across upstream and downstream processing.
Fluent in English and Spanish both written verbal.
