CSCI Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coding and a commitment to developing efficient and scalable software solutions. Develop and maintain Java-based applications and components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and define system specifications.
Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and usability.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in Java development.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in Java development with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or Struts.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work with clients to understand their needs.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
All candidates must be U.S. Citizens and able to pass a Federal background investigation.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle) and web technologies (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Capability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies.
