Job Description:

We are seeking a Chief of Staff. Responsibilities (including and not limited to):


  • Act as a strategic advisor and confidant to the Hybrid Cloud Chief Technology organization, including centralized tracking of all project plans, milestones, and dependencies.

  • Maintain Hybrid Cloud Chief Technology organization OKR framework and interconnectedness with other HPE OKR's for alignment to goals.

  • Streamline key processes (budgeting, investment requests, etc.) and work with Hybrid Cloud Chief Technology leaders for consistency in the execution of company deliverables, such as annual planning cycles, and contributions for monthly and quarterly business reviews.

  • Develop compelling presentations to represent Hybrid Cloud Chief Technology at QBRs and Exec meetings

  • Support long-range goal planning for Hybrid Cloud Chief Technology, translating multi-quarter aspirational outcomes to near-term milestones and priorities within a simplified narrative format.

  • Support weekly leadership meeting agendas, planning team off-sites, Quarterly Town Halls, and creative ways to foster our culture within the team.

  • Act on behalf of Hybrid Cloud Chief Technology org where needed within cross-functional meetings and initiatives for feedback and input.

  • Provide honest and thoughtful feedback to Hybrid Cloud Chief Technology leadership as an advisor/thought partner.

  • Proactively identifies new opportunities with client business leaders to develop and drive comprehensive business plan recommendations, based on analysis, emerging trends, and experience.

  • Drives the construction of highly innovative statistical and financial models to analyze new aspects of business performance.

  • Establishes the metrics required to measure business performance and recommends the go-forward strategy to address performance gaps.

  • Identifies or develops cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business decisions.

  • Counsels and influences business leaders, recommends approaches for executive high-level strategies and develops creative solutions.

What you'll need:


  • 10+ years experience in an analytical role at a fast-paced startup/public company or prior Chief of Staff Experience - background in GTM operations, project management, change management, and consulting, strongly preferred.

  • Previous experience in a SaaS environment is strongly preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to draw insights from unorganized information and help drive process improvements accordingly.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - the ability to clearly articulate business issues and recommend/synthesize solutions.

  • Ownership mentality with a strong desire to make the entire team successful - a Self-starter, motivated by achieving measuring and goals within the team setting and who independently drives initiatives.

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in business or a related field.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S. -based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $155,500.00 - $376,000.00
