Job Description:

Location: Storm Lake, IA

Salary: $25.00 USD Hourly - $27.00 USD Hourly

Description: My client is an international meat processor and they are looking for a maintenance technician for their facility located in a rural part of Northwest Iowa. This opportunity is on first shift and is with a very stable organization. They are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, with a proven ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment in a fast-paced meat processing environment.



Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all equipment.
  
  


• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical malfunctions.
  
  


• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  
  


• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.
  
  


• Assist in the installation of new machinery and systems.
  
  


• Work collaboratively with production staff to ensure equipment operates efficiently and without interruption.
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is a plus.
  
  


• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in the meat processing industry.
  
  


• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical equipment.
  
  


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
  


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
