Position Overview
The SVP, Member Engagement & Development is responsible for driving member experience, retention, and growth initiatives for the region - while providing guidance and advocacy to agency members that utilize 4A's resources and benefits. The role is the primary point of contact for existing members and prospects members across the central region.

Position Responsibilities
Member Engagement:
Consult with member agencies providing guidance on business issues as well as maximize awareness and utilization of 4A's resources, especially as it pertains to business management, talent development, new business, strategic insight and industry trends.
Maintain ongoing dialogue with agency principals and other key staff to ensure relevance and impact.
Meet in-person (and virtually) with members' executive team to consult on business challenges and needs and review engagement and membership ROI annually, with quarterly check-ins.
Conduct annual planning with members to assess and advise on engagement and investment with the 4A's including membership, events, training, and other activities/products that meet the business needs and goals for the year.
Monitor satisfaction with the 4A's and ensure that news, industry best practices, and other relevant member assets are consistently provided to members.
Proactively advocate, respond, and address member needs.
Member Community Leadership:
Plan and facilitate council and regional board meetings that take place throughout the year and cultivate a diverse pool of candidates for National Board of Directors.
Work with local agency leaders to bring 4A's programs that showcase thought leadership, guidance and inspiration and address key needs of member agencies.
Plan and facilitate C-Suite Forum meetings. Recruit speakers and guests, organize agency tours, coordinate meeting agendas and ensure maximum participation.
Manage two regional education programs known as the 4A's Institute for Advanced Advertising Studies (IAAS).
New Member Growth:
Proactively identify and pitch qualified agency prospects into membership.
Make presentations to agency prospect leadership, engage other subject matter experts within the 4A's to support member development, closing new members and leading the onboarding of new members.
Responsibility towards meeting or exceeding new member growth goals set for the region.
Engage with existing members during yearly renewal discussions to help assess new member dues and secure member renewal.
