Key responsibilities:


  • Direct and motivate multi-disciplinary project teams, holding members strictly accountable to deliver flawless results within the agreed project governance structure.


  • Promote customer happiness throughout the project lifecycle, working collaboratively with the Sales team in a shared relationship management role.


  • Lead project execution post-deal closure, acting as the single point of contact and the on-site customer advocate.


  • Manage project scope, timelines, and budget/profitability, ensuring successful implementation of all project goals.


  • Establish, coordinate, and oversee all project communications, agree on achievements, and conduct "lessons learned" exercises.


  • Decommission projects upon completion, ensuring knowledge transfer for continuous process improvements.


  • Control project scope and collaborate with the Proposals Team to prepare amendments and/or scope changes.


  • Collaborate with the Sales/Commercial Development team to contribute to mid and long-term program strategies and carry out relevant sections of the Sales & Operations process.


  • Deliver on local Sales & Operations and related demand planning, ensuring accurate revenue forecasts and monthly revenue achievement.


  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members, encouraging a culture of teamwork and accountability.


  • Conduct a range of program and project management duties, which involve producing progress reports for customers and effectively addressing any partner concerns in a timely manner.


  • Implement all PM Standard Work processes to manage projects effectively and ensure collaborator awareness and accountability.


  • Develop and manage plans to address any issues and conduct the Lesson Learned process with customers at important project achievements.


Key requirements:


  • Substantial experience as a Program or Project Manager in the Life Sciences or a related industry.


  • Extensive experience in a GMP Regulated, Pharmaceutical, or Environmental industry.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent experience.


  • Equivalent experience to an MBA preferred.


  • Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred.
