Formulations Processor I - NIGHT SHIFT

The GFT Operator prepares feed tanks to supply the Hard Capsule Machines, while meeting gelatin standards and customer specifications. Responsibilities also include maintenance of GMP Policies for the business by aligning with processes, procedures and instructions for all activities in which this role participates and is knowledgeable and follows all pertinent safety policies, rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare gelatin feed tanks that are used on the HCM machines to produce capsules per developed work instructions and job aids.


• Responsible for trim recycling, GFT tank pulling and performing basic maintenance on equipment.


• Maintains production records as required by Good Manufacturing Practices and meeting expectations on Safety, Attendance, Partnership, Quality, and Efficiency metrics!


• Apply basic math concepts by adding ingredients based on recipe formulations and makes judgment decisions if ingredient levels must be modified to meet the desired color.


• Responds to system alarms and performs specified responses to these alarms. Calls for assistance for troubleshooting.


• Accountable for departmental housekeeping duties.


• Must be available for 12-hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, etc., work additional hours/days as business needs instruct. Attendance in the plant site is considered crucial!

Key Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Lift, push, pull, objects up to 35 lbs.


• Must score 50 or below on the Color Test.
