To lead and oversee critical initiatives and projects important to the organization by effectively planning, executing, and delivering on project objectives ensuring they align with organizational goals and drive business outcomes.  Perform complex and varied professional administrative and analytical work in the development, implementation, administration and reporting of programs and projects. This position will typically manage projects of varying complexity, exercising independent judgment and the ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision.

Job Duties:


  • To manage and coordinate the implementation of projects and provide support for organization wide efforts.

  • Contribute to and provide support for enterprise-wide tools, communication sites and channels. 

  • Conduct special studies involving research and analysis of complex and sensitive information; develop recommendations and alternative solutions and implement initiatives.

  • Develop project charters, critical path or project flow diagrams to plan and evaluate progress on project tasks.

  • Oversees the administrative activities of a designated program or programs.

  • Responsible for daily program operations including staff supervision, program evaluations, and developing long-range plans.

  • Collects and analyzes data and prepares reports.

  • Plans and coordinates program events.

  • Plans and oversees project management.

  • Performs related duties as assigned or as required to successfully fulfill functions of the position.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree, AND: 


  • 48 months of related experience.

Equivalent/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree to equal 96 months of related experience.

Skills:


  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines

  • Able to effectively evaluate projects; programs and produce comprehensive reports

  • Able to supervise staff and communicate directions and expectations effectively

  • Must be able to read and interpret policy as well as State and Federal regulations

  • Ability to think strategically, align projects with organizational goals, and make decisions that contribute to overall business success.

  • Understands project management best practices and documentation

  • Ability to collaborate and support multiple stakeholders

  • None

  • Sits for prolonged periods.

  • Communicate effectively.

  • Manual dexterity. 

  • Standard office environment.

  • Experience in program/program management
