JOB DESCRIPTION



Wood's Consulting business is currently searching for a Senior Digital Maintenance Engineer to support our Team in Houston, Texas. The Senior Digital Maintenance Engineer will support the development and delivery of Wood's premier Maintenance and Spare optimisation solution called maintAI as well as other digital solutions developed by Wood. maintAI addresses our clients' issues related to Maintenance Strategy, Overdue Backlog, Spares and Asset Reliability Twin.


The role supports both our clients and internal team, providing maintenance domain knowledge to maintAI projects and deployments between the client and supporting the project engagement lead/ project manager in ensuring that the maintAI team adds value to the maintenance programs of our clients. The role requires domain knowledge in the maintenance and reliability sector.


They are responsible for developing and consulting on key maintAI projects across the Americas with reference to the systems, workflows and deployment governance setup by the wider product team.


They contribute to the continuous development and upgrades to the maintAI product by producing solutions to the complex strategic, contractual, technical, commercial, operational and personnel related challenges which are required to deliver transformational maintenance value to our clients and return to Wood.



RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Actively identifies opportunities for maintAI development to bring further commercial and disruptive value to Wood and customer
  • Participate and facilitate client workshops, reviews and lessons learnt sessions.
  • Development and improvement of maintenance tasks, inclusive of Tasks Lists and Maintenance Strategies
  • Develop detailed Engineering Discipline equipment specific Work Instructions and Task Lists and the associated Master Data
  • Continuous improvement of Maintenance Development and Optimization processes and technical procedures
  • Conduct equipment and Spares Criticality Assessments and Safety Critical Element (Equipment) assignment exercises
  • Working through the management of change process to implement the maintAI recommendations and get the approvals from technical authorities.
  • Participate and support the facilitation of equipment reliability related studies including RCM studies, FMEAs, FMECAs, Criticality Analysis, and RCAs
  • Carry out Maintenance Data QA/ QC Support the development project documentation such as procedures, standards, and analysis papers
  • Develop and optimize Work Management processes
  • Development of technical reports and ability to work towards and meet deadlines.
  • Actively participate and champion a strong workplace culture focused on team success.





QUALIFICATIONS



  • BSc, BEng, Degree in either Chemical/Electrical/ Mechanical/ Instrumentation/ Industrial Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in industry work experience delivering digital maintenance/reliability management, or consulting experience focused on operations, and/or growth initiatives in the domains of oil and gas, mining, chemical, or manufacturing.
  • Highly desirable is direct experience of analytical techniques applied to maintenance and reliability systems to understand performance and opportunity for optimization.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the development and configuration of Maintenance and Spares Master Data
  • Highly desirable is experience managing the management of change processes within industry.
  • Experience at an operator in the upstream, downstream, midstream, chemicals and manufacturing industries is a plus.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management including the management of challenging interfaces and developing strong customer relationships.
  • Knowledge of reliability and maintenance processes including Criticality Assessments, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Reliability Centered Maintenance Studies
  • Experience of implementing successful project performance improvement activities and techniques for recovering poor performance
  • Must be US Citizen, or authorized to work lawfully in the US, without sponsorship from Wood.
