Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Must reside within 50 miles/1 hour commute of the posted Elevance Health locations.
The Provider Contract Director leads key contract administration functions and/or initiatives across the enterprise and serves as subject matter expert regarding contract language and contract administration.
How you will make an impact:
Leads the development and implementation of enterprise contract management/administration strategies, processes and systems across the company.
Works to drive the adoption and use of standardized contracts, contract language and contract platforms.
Works with contract negotiators to identify best practice solutions to contract needs and helps educate contract negotiators on contract language impacts.
Leads contract reviews to ensure that contract terms and language can be implemented efficiently. Researches and quantifies impact to contract modifications.
Manages special projects and initiatives.
Represents the department and serves as a key contributor on enterprise initiatives, projects, and task forces.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a BS/BA degree in related field and a minimum of 10 years business and professional experience in contracting, provider relations, and provider servicing; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
