Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas is looking to add to our Administrative Services team and has a new opportunity for an Executive Business Partner. The Executive Business Partner (EBP) will provide high-level strategic and operational support to the Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and assisting in driving key initiatives and business objectives. The EBP will function as a trusted advisor, facilitating communication and collaboration between senior leadership, departments, and external stakeholders. This role requires a proactive and highly organized individual with exceptional problem-solving skills, a keen understanding of business operations, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. The EBP will support the Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). The CHRO has direct executive oversight of Human Resources and Administrative Services, as well as shared executive oversight of Operations & Government Programs.

Compensation
$96,800 - $115,000
Exempt Grade 17

The compensation range for this role is a good faith estimate, it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid. All offers presented to candidates are carefully reviewed to ensure fair, equitable pay by offering competitive wages that align with the individual's skills, education, experience, and training. What you'll do
Strategic Support: Collaborate with the executive and Director, Divisional Strategic Initiatives to develop and implement strategic plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Prepare and analyze reports, presentations, and business documents to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Operational Management: Manage key projects and initiatives, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
Communication: Facilitate effective communication and information flow, ensuring that the executive and appropriate stakeholders are well-informed and prepared for meetings and engagements. Assist the executive in drafting communication.
Problem Solving and Decision Making: Anticipate potential issues and proactively address them to prevent disruptions. Provide insightful recommendations and solutions to enhance efficiency.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other EBPs, Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) and senior leadership to ensure cohesive support across the organization. Foster a collaborative and positive working environment.
What you need
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years' relative experience.
Minimum of 5 years' experience supporting senior executives in roles related to strategic planning and project management.
3+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related field with a focus on HR strategic support or HR project execution.
Strategic Thinker: Capable of understanding and aligning with broader organizational goals and strategies.
Detail-Oriented: Pays meticulous attention to detail in all tasks and communications.
Proactive and Driven: Demonstrates initiative and a strong sense of ownership while facing challenges with resilience and agility.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to adapt communication style to a wide variety of audiences.
Decision Making: Ability to make decisions using independent judgment and creativity to resolve issues and overcome roadblocks.
Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
Adaptable: Able to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
