Responsibilities

The Successful Candidate Will...


  • Manages operations throughout regional area to ensure each branch is in line with budgeted financial performance and goals. Regularly travels to branches to monitor performance and quality and provide support.

  • Prepares operational and financial projections and develops strategies for achieving the goals set out in those projections.

  • Designs and implements strategies to meet regional and corporate objectives. Monitors practices to ensure consistency and compliance. Responsible for business and corporate communication to the branches.

  • Identifies key markets and targets for acquisitions. Establishes relationship with owners and facilitates acquisition process with business owners and corporate office.

  • Directs General/Branch Managers and Regional Staff on continuous improvement strategies and/or action plans, to include customer satisfaction and retention, employee satisfaction, sales units, capture rates, resource management, and financial performance.

  • Prepares composite reports according to corporate requirements from individual reports of subordinates. Analyzes reports, identifies trends and potential issues, and implements proactive resolution strategies.

  • Manages all aspects of the homebuilder relationship at the regional operational level and coordinates with corporate staff all efforts aimed at capitalizing on business with national/multi-market homebuilders.

  • Creates a positive work environment. Ensures management within region attract and select high caliber employees, while continuously providing training and motivating.  Directly manages the work of Regional Staff and General/Branch Managers within the region.

  • Delegates duties and examines work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.

  • Assists subordinates in the performance of duties and steps in to perform duties when necessary.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: 

College degree preferred. Must have strong management experience and experience with P&L analysis and overall profitability. Experience supervising, coaching and developing a successful management team. Must have experience with sales and marketing, and office administration. Able to handle multiple tasks, be detail oriented and work independently. Five to ten years’ experience managing multiple locations. Experience in pest control or route-based industry a plus.

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodation. Will be required to work in the branch office.
