Eurofins DiscoverX is a leader in providing solutions and support to the pharmaceutical industry by developing, manufacturing, and commercializing reagents, cell-based assay kits, and profiling and screening services.

The positions primary responsibility will be to support the entire Eurofins Discovery portfolio for a specific region with a focus on providing pricing expertise and maintaining multiple databases.

DiscoverX is searching for a Regional Pricing Specialist, to join our team in San Diego, CA.


Regional Pricing Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :


• Competle daily price reqeusts for non-standard Servcies

• Complete daily price reqeust whree rules hav ebeen defined and approved

• Adjust price in AX quote in case of price customization for a one-shot study

• Understand and collect marking strategies and assess market pricing

• Make valid pricing recommendation and use the formal pricing proposal template to send to the BD

• Write and renew Pricing Agreements

• Send finalized accurate pricing agreement to the BD

• Maintain database of Pricing Agreements (Update client specifications database, interact with AX/ Data Management team, Ultria in SFDC)

• Collect the agreed upon and signed pricing recommendation and send to Data Management Team to be implemented into AX

• Work with Product Managers for Panel/Item Creation in AX

• When interrupted or deleted assays and panels are impacted, calculate the new price and update the Price List, Fiche Client and AX

• Suggest a Pricing Strategy and a Pricing Grid for any new Item joining the Catalog

• Create pricing grids to cover higher volumes that can be used for price estimates as requested

• Manage discount requests above 10% in collaboration with GM's Manage studies requested for free, publications and cost sharing management in collaboration with the GM's

• Measure the impacts of the Loyalty program

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams across different cultures and geographies

• Manage Large Multi-Site agreements/ RFP's

• Issue price lists for specific clients

• Partner with Product Mangers/ Marketing on creating and implement pricing promotions

• Add content to the benchmark database in collaboration with Product Managers

• Support Client Facing Teams for any questions linked to the general pricing policy

• Collect suggested price increase per assay family


The ideal candidate would possess :


• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies


Basic Minimum Qualifications :


• Bachelor's degree in accounting or life sciences

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance San Diego, CA are encouraged to apply.
